Disney World Parks are a mass of exciting theme parks that offer something for everyone from ages two to ninety-nine. There are four major theme parks within Disney World. The Magic Kingdom was modeled after Disneyland in California and has most of the same rides and attractions. Epcot was another vision of Walt Disney and has exhibits from several different countries, NASA, and several major corporations. The Animal Kingdom is one of the best zoos in the country and allows people to see animals living similar to the way they exist on the plains of Africa. Disney MGM studios is an real operating studio with attractions themed around film and television.

In addition to the major theme parks, Disneyland has amazing water parks. Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon have some of the most unique water attractions in America. A huge wave pool simulates the ocean very closely–or you can catapult down waterfalls as if falling off a huge mountain in a toboggan. Also Typhoon Lagoon is home to the worlds largest watershed mountain.

The last of the Disney World Parks to be built is Disney MGM Studios. It is a theme park built around a real television and movie studio. The whole place is reminiscent of Hollywood in the 1930s. The Tower of Terror, the Twilight Zone, and the Rockn Roller Coaster are among the favorite attractions within this park. In addition, several live action shows, like Beauty and the Beast and Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular, amaze visitors on a daily basis.

You can buy discounted passes to each of the Disney World parks, or Park Hopper passes that allow you unlimited access to all of the parks for a certain number of days. Disney Travel: Disney World Theme Parks

Disney World theme parks are the major draws at Walt Disney World, but by no means are the only attractions; there are three water parks, a sports park, Pleasure Island, and six golf courses as well. Disney World started in the sixties with the Magic Kingdom debuting, but now covers nearly fifty square miles with four other fantastic theme parks. Disney World has something for everyone, and can turn the grouchiest old man into a beaming child again.

Epcot is the thinking mans park with exhibits representing the marvels of science and technology, as well as cultural themes. Epcot is divided into two areas, Future World and the World Showcase. Future World is home to attractions like Spaceship Earth, which is the large geodesic dome which is an Icon of Epcot. The World showcase has exhibits from eleven different countries and some of the best restaurants in Florida.

The two other Disney World theme parks are Disney MGM Studios and the Animal Kingdom. Disney MGM Studios is an actual film and television studio surrounded by a 1930s style Hollywood backlot, with many thrilling rides and attractions. The Animal Kingdom is one of the finest animal sanctuaries anywhere. It covers 500 acres and is home to over 1700 hundred animals of over 250 species.

Disney Travel: Disney World In Florida

Disney World in Florida has become Americas premier vacation destination. Young and old alike fall in love with Disney World immediately, and there is something for everyone. Four theme parks, three water parks, several golf courses, and many amazing resorts cover an almost fifty square mile area that is known as Walt Disney World.

There is so much to see and do at Disney World that it can all be a little overwhelming. If you go there without any kind of plan, you will likely miss some of the best attractions. Some people only go for a couple of days, and that certainly isnt enough time to cover it all, but you can hit the attractions you want to see most.

I went on my honeymoon years ago and my (then) wife and I were extremely impressed with Epcot. We were only at Disney World for two days after coming back from Jamaica, but it was a highlight of our trip. That was over fifteen years ago, and today Disney World in Florida has three times as many attractions than it did back then.
